Department of Tourism J&K organized an impressive seminar at Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad to attract tourists from the state of Telangana. The department also addressed a press conference to aware the masses through media about the tourism products and also dispel negative impression about the safety of tourists in Kashmir. The seminar was organized in collaboration with J&K Pilgrim and Leisure Tour Operators Forum.

Ms Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Tourism J&K, was the chief guest on the occasion. Over hundred travel agents and hoteliers from the Telangana, seniors officers from department of tourism Telangana participated in the seminar to show support to the tourism sector the J&K state.

A large gathering of travel agents and tour operators turned up for the seminar on J&K
Before his key note address, Secretary Tourism J&K Sarmad Hafeez screens the recently launched short movie “Warmest Place on Earth” which highlights the hospitable nature of Kashmiris. Within 72 hours of its release, the film had clocked over five million views on social media. It has crossed over 20 million views so far.
Secretary Tourism J&K Sarmad Hafeez went whole hog with his poetic speech describing all the regions of the J&K with all their distinct features in a beautifully worded script which mesmerized the audience.
